The material is made from recycled pre-consumer tannery offcuts and Lyocell fibres, bonded by hydro-entanglement without chemical binders, PVC, or additional animal-derived inputs. It has a PFAS-free, water-based coating and is supplied in rolls, with a growing choice of textures, finishes, and colours suitable for continuous upholstery cutting. Independent certification includes a life-cycle assessment of 5.28 kg CO₂-eq/m², Global Recycled Standard 4.0 recycled-content certification, REACH compliance, and PFAS-free testing with no fluorochemicals detected across more than 50 substances. It has passed seven physical performance tests covering abrasion, colour fastness, tear strength, and delamination under dry and wet conditions. The company seeks partners able to provide certified flammability testing for contract and hospitality furniture, environmental assessment, and flexible capacity for prototyping and production. Partners may select existing materials or commission tailored developments for seating and soft furnishings. Cooperation can include product development, design consultation, distribution, and co-branding. The material has already been validated through fashion and luxury-brand collaborations, supporting its readiness for new applications. Its use turns tannery waste into a performance-grade material while providing documented sustainability credentials.
